Memorial Day to delay trash and recycling

There will be a one day delay in next week’s collection due to the Monday, May 29, 2017, Memorial Day Holiday. Trash and recycling will be collected one day later than normal for the remainder of the week. Please contact the recycling coordinator with questions. Will Cronin 401 824-6519

Re-val update (May 22, 2017)
May 22, 2017  – Tax Assessor Department
Northeast Revaluation Group will continue its work in Plats 108, 108NE, 108NW, 108SE, 108SW, 110 and 111 during the weeks of May 21-May 27 and May 28-June 3. Inspectors will be out on both Saturdays (May 27 and June 3).

Police Parade Sunday May, 7th Traffic Detour

West Main Road, from Coddington Highway to the Newport Town line will be closed on Sunday, May 7th from 9:15 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.  Access to West Main Road from adjacent side streets will also be closed. We will open all roads as soon as the parade is open.
