07-15-2010: Jobs Now Rhode Island - Cities and Towns - The RI Departments of Human Services, Labor and Training, and Administration and the Workforce Boards wish to ensure that you are all aware of a temporary but valuable opportunity called Jobs Now RI. How does the creation and performance of a government contract for a construction project differ from the private sector or even the State Government? How do you prepare for and get involved in federal construction projects as a prime or subcontractor? Prime contractors, sub contractors, trades persons and construction specific industry vendors will benefit from this session.

04-14-2010: Public Hearing – Proposed West Main Rd. (Omni Drive) Comprehensive Plan Amendments

04-04-2010: Through Friday, April 16th, Middletown residents will be allowed to dispose of flood debris for free at the Waste Management transfer station located at Halsey Street, Newport.  Residents will be required to present a drivers license AND either 1) lease, 2) tax bill, or 3) water bill. Waste Management will photocopy these documents and attach to the weigh ticket.  The program is restricted to flood related debris, and will be strictly enforced.
