MIDDLETOWN POLICE IS HIRING

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Checks
Checks will be performed on Monday between 9 am and 1 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9 am and 3 pm by calling 401-846-1144, ext. 1715.
Background Checks
Background checks that require fingerprints will be performed by appointment only. This service is open to Middletown residents only. Please contact the Records Office at 401-846-1144, ext. 7077 to make an appointment. Fingerprints will be performed Friday morning from 9 to 10 am.
Child Car Seat Installations
For child car seat installations, please contact Community Policing Officers to schedule an appointment at 401-846-1144 ext. 7033.

Welcome to the Middletown Police Department Website. I hope that you find it not only informative, but also reflective of the dedication of the sworn and civilian members of the department.
It is my pleasure and honor to serve as the ninth Police Chief in the history of the Middletown Police Department.
We pride ourselves in honoring the past and preparing for the future as we face the challenges of policing in the 21st Century. Foremost in our mission to police the community is that service to our citizens is paramount, they deserve the best police department possible and that is our goal.
You are welcomed and encouraged to review the many pages, which will provide you the opportunity to review our past, explore employment opportunities, obtain forms and learn about the many divisions within the department.
