Matt Sheley here, the Town's Public Affairs Officer. Over the past couple months, there's been quite a bit of conversation about Linden Park at 141 West Main Road. Currently, two separate ideas are being considered for the property, a new community park featuring four pickleball courts. The Town's Affordable Housing Committee is also looking at bringing affordable housing to the property. What do you think? What should happen with the valuable property? There are going to need be controls in place to keep the "Common Green Space" from becoming a public dog toilet. Simply putting up signs and providing bags and receptacles is not going to be sufficient. Case in point, the Paradise Valley Park. The nearby apartment dwellers have no place to toilet their dogs, so this area of green is going to be their go-to spot.
