Memorial Day Weekend Message from Middletown Town Council President

Town of Middletown
May 22, 2020

Hello All:

As we continue to go through this unprecedented time in our lives with the covid-19 virus, I just want to take a minute to extend best wishes to everyone for a joyous and safe Memorial Day weekend. Memorial Day means different things to all of us, it’s the official start of the summer, a day off, backyard cookouts, but more importantly it’s an opportunity to remember our men and women in the military – our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen and Coast Guardsmen who continue to serve around the world.

Our thoughts and prayers are especially with our wounded warriors, their families, and the families of the fallen. These American families richly deserve the love and thanks of a grateful nation, and we should never forget their sacrifice. Please take a minute on Memorial Day to simply remember the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

On behalf of myself and my fellow Town Council Colleagues, we want to wish you and your family a safe and happy Memorial Day. Please – Stay well and remember to comply with the CDC and safe distance suggested guidelines, to protect yourself and your loved ones
